UPDATE ON CURRENT ROAD CLOSURES
We have an update for everyone on the two remaining road closures because of Hurricane Ian.
AVON PARK
South Lake Boulevard, between Marble Avenue and West Martin Road
A new culvert will be installed Monday. Oct. 17, with the roadway opening immediately after.
SEBRING
Intersection of Golfview Road and West Lake Drive Boulevard (seen in photos)
The City of Sebring has completed its work on the water main, sewer and fire hydrant lines at the intersection. County crews will begin work Monday, Oct. 17, to install a new culvert, which is being lengthened to provide more shoulder area alongside the roadway. Golfview Road should be open by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, if not sooner, once crews are done.
